Administration Items
Q Parents
Please register for QParents if you haven't already done so. QParents has range of services with options to provide consent, notify of absences, pay invoices, view class timetables and school events.
Outstanding invoices/fees
Please follow up on payment of outstanding invoice/fees due for your child/children. Payments can be made via QParents website or via BPay using the reference number noted on the invoice. Alternatively, payment can be made in the office.
Collection of Students
When collecting students, please report to the office and we will organise for your child/children to meet you there. This allows the school to be able to manage any emergencies or instances where we need to be aware of who is at the school at any particular time. Thank you for your cooperation.
Swimming Permission Forms
Swimming starts next week, permission forms are required. Please complete in the QParents app which is a very easy process.
If you do not have QParents see the below flyer for registration details. Alternatively, if a paper copy is required, please contact the office on 5413 6333 or call into the office in person.
P&C Update
Term 4 P&C - Welcome to Term 4
Welcome back to Term 4! The P&C has lots going on this term and we’d love to get our school families involved.
What’s On?

- Friday 31 Oct: Day for Daniel Walk to school & World Teachers Day
- Saturday 1 Nov: Year 6 Car Wash fundraiser!

- Wednesday 19 Oct P&C Meeting
Week 10:
- Monday 8 Dec: Year 6 graduation ceremony
- Tuesday 9 Dec: Christmas Concert
- Wednesday 10 Dec: Year 6 Bli Bli trip
- Thursday 11 Dec: Rewards Day
- Friday 12 Dec: Last Day of the school year!
P&C - We need your help in Term 4
We are looking for parent / grandparent volunteers and input with a number of events and fund raisers in Term 4.:
- Cook Book Fund raiser: We’ve had lots of great recipes submitted but would love a few more! Please email them to pandc@mooloolahss.eq.edu.au by Friday 17 October!
- Help with the Grandparents Day BBQ – Friday 17 October Can you help out cook the sausage sizzle for grandparents’ day? Please contact Katrina Mills if you can assist. Sausages will be available for all students and grandparents / parents for $2 each!
- Annual P&C Survey: P&C Survey – We are keen to hear from our families what you value in the P&C and ask that you complete a short survey: https://forms.office.com/r/cPbzCztWHr
- Year 6 Car Wash Fund Raiser Saturday 1 November – Year 6 parents keep the date free and watch this space for more info! We will need lots of parents and year 6 students to join us from 8am - 12noon washing cars and manning the bbq!
- End of Year Christmas Concert Tuesday 9 December – watch this space! We will be running our giant Christmas hamper raffle again, so why not throw a few extra goodies into your weekly shopping now, in advance of the call for donations!
The Usual
- Tuck Shop will recommence Monday week 2 and run till Monday week 10.
- Subway will recommence Thursday week 1 and run till Thursday week 10.
- Uniform Shop will be open as usual on Tuesday’s 2:45pm – 3:15pm

Year 6 Graduation
If your child has not attended Mooloolah State School since Prep, please supply copies of your child's photos to admin@mooloolahss.eq.edu.au or bring them into the office for scanning.
